Current Programs:

School Supply Drive:

Help the Carnes Elementary School students get their school year off to a good start. Donate school supplies and uniforms. Items needed include: spiral notebooks, pencils, crayons, safety scissors, glue sticks, Kleenex, backpacks, and uniforms (khaki, black or blue bottoms and white polo tops for boys and girls sizes 5-11). School supplies may be left on the second floor underneath the Community Service bulletin board.

The Hospitality Hub:

A ministry to connect homeless people with the resources they need to begin their journey out of homelessness welcomes new volunteers. To learn more about volunteering at the Hub, please contact David Figiel.

Soup Sunday:

Soups are prepared the Saturday before Soup Sunday (usually the second Sunday of the month) from 8:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in Grace’s kitchen. No training is necessary. Contact Merrill Ann Cole to learn more about volunteering with the Soup Sunday ministry.

Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Ministry:

Contact Debbie Strauss if you’re interested in working with the Wilmington Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation program. Training is provided for free.
